It’s located on the outside of the cricket club pavilion and accessible at all times for emergency use.
The defibrillator has been installed Westcott Parish Council. The cost was covered by Parish Council reserves at a price subsidised price by the British Heart Foundation, and part-funded with a grant from Haddenham and Waddesdon Community Board.
Thanks are due to Andy at Amp-air for generously donating his time and experience to install the defibrillator, and appreciation to Westcott Cricket Club for providing the easily accessible location.
The defibrillator has been registered on defibfinder.uk – a useful resource for any member of the public to put in their UK location and find the nearest defibrillator in an emergency.
Training on how to use and maintain the device for the village will be provided for anyone wishing to volunteer. More information will follow but please get in touch with Mandy if you’re interested: clerk@westcottparishcouncil.gov.uk
